Have you ever felt like your life is in chaos? Maybe challenges are coming at you from every direction. Perhaps you are confused about which way to go. You may be feeling empty. It could be that life is messy.
God is in the business of bringing order into chaos. Genesis 1:2-3 says, “The earth was without form, and void and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. Then God said…”
‘Without form’ means desolate, empty and confused. Void means an indistinguishable ruin. When the earth was in chaos, the Holy Spirit was hovering. When God spoke, the Spirit sprang into action and light flooded into the darkness.
Our Example
Jesus understands the battles you are facing and He knows how you feel: “This High Priest of ours understands our weaknesses, for He faced all of the same testings we do…” (Hebrews 4:15 NLT).
The Lord was tempted by the devil after 40 days of fasting in the wilderness. The enemy harassed Jesus, but every time the devil attacked, Jesus retaliated with Scripture. He didn’t just think the relevant verse, He spoke back!
Let’s look at one example. When the devil tried to undermine Jesus’ very identity: “If You are the Son of God, throw yourself down”, Jesus responded with the Word: “It is written…” (Matthew 4:6-7)
The Son of God conquered those trials by speaking the word and He came out the other side stronger than ever. Luke 4:14 describes how He left the wilderness: “Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit…”
2 Ways To Overcome Confusion
I don’t know what you are facing or what may be causing you to be confused. First of all, remember that the Holy Spirit is with you. Just as He was hovering at the start of time, He is with you.
Draw near to Him – He will draw even nearer to you. Tell Him what is bothering you and give Him your worries, remember, He is in control.
Secondly, I want to encourage you to do what Jesus did. Speak the Word to your circumstances. Insist on order where there is chaos. Command clarity into any confusion. When you speak to your circumstances, things change.
Declare in prayer: “Let Your kingdom come right now, righteousness, joy and peace will reign in my life.” Then continue, “Let Your will be done in Jesus’ name. I command every area of my life to line up with Your will, in Jesus’ name, amen.”
Inner Peace
As you cast your cares and pray in faith, inner order will be restored. It does not necessarily mean that your circumstances will change straight away. However, you will be at peace, and able to hear God and stand strong.

Dios está en el negocio de poner orden en el caos. Génesis 1:2-3 dice: “La tierra estaba desordenada [sin forma], y vacía y tinieblas sobre la faz del abismo. Y el Espíritu de Dios se movía sobre la faz de las aguas. Entonces Dios dijo…”
“Sin forma” significa desolado, vacío y confuso. Vacío significa una ruina indistinguible. Cuando la tierra estaba sumida en el caos, el Espíritu Santo flotaba. Cuando Dios habló, el Espíritu entró en acción y la luz inundó la oscuridad.
Nuestro Ejemplo
Jesús comprende las batallas que enfrentas y sabe cómo te sientes: “Este Sumo Sacerdote nuestro comprende nuestras debilidades, porque enfrentó todas las mismas pruebas que nosotros…” (Hebreos 4:15 NTV).
El Señor fue tentado por el diablo después de 40 días de ayuno en el desierto. El enemigo acosó a Jesús, pero cada vez que el diablo atacó, Jesús tomó represalias con las Escrituras. Él no sólo pensó en el versículo relevante, ¡sino que respondió!
Veamos un ejemplo. Cuando el diablo intentó socavar la identidad misma de Jesús: “Si eres Hijo de Dios, échate abajo”, Jesús respondió con la Palabra: “Escrito está…” (Mateo 4:6-7)
El Hijo de Dios venció esas pruebas hablando la palabra y salió del otro lado más fuerte que nunca. Lucas 4:14 describe cómo salió del desierto: “Jesús regresó en el poder del Espíritu…”
Dos Formas de Superar la Confusión
No sé a qué te enfrentas ni qué puede estar confundiéndote. Antes que nada, recuerda que el Espíritu Santo está contigo. Así como Él estaba rondando al principio de los tiempos, Él está contigo.
Acércate a Él – Él se acercará aún más a ti. Dile lo que te molesta y entrégale tus preocupaciones, recuerda, Él tiene el control.
En segundo lugar, quiero animarte a hacer lo que hizo Jesús. Habla la Palabra a tus circunstancias. Insiste en el orden donde hay caos. Indica claridad en cualquier confusión. Cuando le hablas a tus circunstancias, las cosas cambian.
Declara en oración: “Venga ahora mismo tu reino, la justicia, el gozo y la paz reinarán en mi vida”. Luego continúa: “Hágase tu voluntad en el nombre de Jesús. Ordeno que cada área de mi vida se alinee con Tu voluntad, en el nombre de Jesús, amén”.
Paz Interior
A medida que abandones tus preocupaciones y ores con fe, se restaurará el orden interior. Esto no significa necesariamente que tus circunstancias van a cambiar de inmediato. Sin embargo, estarás en paz, podrás escuchar a Dios y mantenerte firme.
